Young Minds – debate at Medical University of Bialystok

During the debate “Young Minds – Youth Mental Health as a Challenge of our Time” as part of the Podlasie Festival of Science and Arts, we discussed the contemporary mental condition of children, adolescents, their parents and caregivers, and systemic support for people in mental health crisis in Poland.

The debate was attended by Agnieszka Kulak-Bejda, MD, psychiatrist, psychotraumatologist from the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical University of Bialystok, Julita Maleszewska – psychologist, psychotherapist from the Children’s Aid Center in Bialystok, and Jarek Żyliński, an educational psychologist. The debate was moderated by  Katarzyna Sztop-Rutkowska of the SocLab Foundation.

The conversation was a prelude to the “Youth to Youth” meeting on the topic of mental health of youth organized by the Youth City Council of Bialystok with the support of JoinUs4Health. The meeting will take place on June 13, 2023. Stay tuned!
