In the previous issue we shared with you information about the Minor program “From Science to Society” that WP5 leaders from the Erasmus MC organized. This 10 week program was open for students from different universities in the Netherlands.
We kicked-off our Minor early September, and were delighted to welcome 12 students from different backgrounds; including Psychology, Liberal Arts and Science (Erasmus University), Medicine (Erasmus MC), Life Sciences & Sustainability Studies (Erasmus University College) and Biology (Leiden University). During the classes, students were taught the principles of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and Open Science. We are very grateful to our consortium leader Birgit Schauer and our colleague Anna Barbosa Mendes (WP4, Erasmus University) for hosting several interactive workshops on these topics (see foto). Our students also had the chance to register their project topics on the JoinUs4Health platform.
Finally, students will conclude this program with a public symposium! For more information, go to: Minor From Science to Society | Erasmus University Rotterdam (eur.nl) or email one of the minor coordinators: s.licher@erasmusmc.nl or n.terzikhan@erasmusmc.nl
