The JoinUs4Health team met with Bialystok residents at the Science Picnic at the inauguration of the 19th Podlasie Science and Arts Festival. We talked about citizen science and encouraged visitors to ask questions to scientists from the Medical University on our platform.
Quizzes on health and citizen science were a huge success. Participants in the contests were able to learn that Thomas Edison was a citizen scientist, and that one in two Bialystok residents is at risk of pre-diabetes.
The result? New topic suggestions on our platform!
